What is Good Garms?

A place to shine a light on the brands doing good. We think it should be easy to find good quality clothes that don’t sacrifice the environment or the people that made them.

How do you pick things for Good Garms?

We pick high quality clothes from brands that put sustainability at the core of what they do. Brands that make clothes to last. Brands that care about the mark they leave on the planet. Brands that treat their supply chain fairly.

We use publicly available information to make our decisions. A combination of information directly from the brand and from trusted third parties.

Do brands pay to be featured?

No — brands can’t pay to be on Good Garms. Everything you see has been carefully chosen by Bryn or Evelina. We only add garments that match the standards we set.

How do you make money?

Some of the links through to brands websites are what’s known as affiliate links. If you buy through one of these links we will make a small amount of commission. We will always make it clear next to the link if it’s an affiliate link.

The commision varies between brands. But around 5–15% of the sale amount. Affiliate links cover some of our running costs and help us make Good Garms better.

We never let the commision affect the products we highlight on Good Garms. We choose the best items from brands we love — then try to find paying links after that.

Tell me about your giving strategy?

5% of the commision we get is donated towards Clean Clothes Campaign. We’re a big fan of the work they’re doing to improve factory working conditions. We make a contribution to them once each month.
