Materials

Made from a mix of tencel, refibra and elastane. All three are 100% organic — which means no artificial chemicals have been used through manufacturing. The materials are verified by the Organic Content Standard (OCS).

Tencel fibers are derived from european sustainable wood sources, harvested from certified and controlled sources following the stringent guidelines of the lenzing wood and pulp policy. Its manufacturing process recycles the water from the spinning process, making it 99% reusable.

Refibra™ is tencel made with an innovative and closed-loop technology. Manufactured in an award-winning efficient closed-loop process, contributing to the circular economy in the textile industry as it involves upcycling a substantial proportion of cotton scraps (e.g. From garment production) and wood pulp sourced from certified sustainable forestry. Contributing to the circular economy in the textile industry, the use of resources and energy in its process is reduced to a minimum. This innovative closed-loop gives a second chance to pre-and post-consumer sources which would be otherwise be sent to landfills or incinerated, nothing is treated as waste, helping protect the environment.

Impact

Making this garment takes 25 liters of water, 2.81 kg CO2 eq, 2.30 g PO4 and results in 0.04 kg of waste.

Production

Made in Spain.
