Knit from the softest yak wool in a beautiful, undyed, light grey colour. Our yak wool is sustainably sourced from the Green Gold project in Mongolia, which is working to improve the health of the country’s grasslands and the incomes of its nomadic herders.
The fiber is sourced from the “Green Gold” project, a Swiss development program which organises cooperatives of nomadic herders in the Mongolian grasslands. The project helps herders preserve their traditional way of life through artisanal fiber production of heritage Mongolian breeds.
They have a zero waste programme. They reuse organic cotton scraps to make their clothing tags, labels, and other things. Profits from the programme go to a local Indian school for disabled children.
